My baby turned 18 months old. She is quickly changing from a baby to a toddler!!! It is amazing to watch her grow and develop in leaps and bounds now. We are trying to "train" her in so many things right now as we prepare for a baby to invade her life. The newest thing that has happened is she has left the crib and switched to a toddler bed. She has done really well. When she gets up in the morning or after a nap she heads over to the book shelf and entertains herself. The first day was hard to keep her in the bed and not playing but after that day she has done really well considering she is our "Dora the Explorer!!"
*She already uses a cup well
*Still sits on her potty (and goes sometimes)
*Wants to be very independent in everything she does
*Loves her Bible. She wants her Bible first thing after waking up, waking up from nap and before she goes to bed.
*She LOVES to dance and listen to music.
*She is loving the pool and thinks she is jumping (she also tries hopping/jumping on the ground as well.)
*She finally weighs 20 lbs!!!!! :) Oh yeah, we are still wearing 6-9 month pants/shorts!
*She finally has 8 teeth and eats pretty much everything we give her.
*She says "yeah" when asked a question....(doesn't matter the question!!)
*She loves Dora and Elmo
I love just watching her and hanging out with her. She makes us laugh, she gives us the best random kisses and hugs, she is LOTS of work because she has TONS of her Daddy's energy, and she loves life to the fullest. She is always ready for the next activity. We are really enjoying this stage with her. We are just praying the next little one doesn't rock her world too much!!!
Here is our baby girl at 18 months
She insisted on wearing her water shoes!!!
Callie, you truly are the love of our lives. We have treasured these 18 months with just you. You are one special girl and I know God has big plans for your sweet little heart and life!!!! Love you.
The girl has moves! Love hearing that little voice say "yeah". Love you!
