We went swimming in the pool and the lake, we did lots of reading on the deck while Callie took naps, we went out to eat, enjoyed time as a family and really enjoyed another part of God's beautiful creation.
This place was in the middle of NO where. The lake was formed after a volcano collapsed in. The lake is therefore surrounded by mountains and they are luscious green. The lake was like glass all day long. It would be PER-fect for skiing, too bad we don't own a boat ;)
The water from the tap was like yellowish. Since they are so far away and have no water company I am sure it comes straight from the ground/well and they also use rain water. They promised they didn't use the lake. It never smelled bad it just looked really funny (you will see a picture of Callie in her bath).

The last picture is Callie not wanting to go to bed the last night. We actually let her watch a movie with us as we were all trying to fall asleep. We were just trying to keep her quiet so she would disturb our neighbors....what a night!!!
Overall, GREAT weekend and we look forward to going back sometime.
